Explosives Engineering, Science & Technology – Special In-Person Short Course
Explosives Engineering, Science & Technology – 3.5-Day Special In-Person Short Course
This intensive 3.5-day in-person course is designed for engineers, scientists, blasters, military personnel, and technical professionals who want a deeper, practical understanding of explosive phenomena. Participants study detonation physics, blast wave behavior, fragmentation mechanics, scaling laws, and real-world engineering applications. The course combines university-level science with hands-on demonstrations, including practical experiments in shock-wave physics and pressure measurements.
Unlike basic safety seminars, this program focuses on applied explosives engineering. You will learn how to analyze blast effects, calculate fragment velocity using Gurney methods, interpret shock wave data, and understand how energetic materials behave in real systems. Participants receive a 28-hour Certificate of Completion from Petr Explosives Group. Limited seating ensures depth of discussion and meaningful technical engagement.

Advanced Energetics / Propellants Course (AEPC) – Special In-Person Short Course
The Advanced Energetics / Propellants Course (AEPC) is a 3.5-day in-person training program focused on propellant chemistry, combustion, and internal ballistics. Designed for engineers and professionals, the course provides a practical understanding of how propellants behave under confinement, how pressure evolves in rocket motors, and how to safely design and operate energetic systems.
Hands-on, advanced training in propellants, pyrotechnics, and explosives for defense and R&D professionals.
