Thank you for your registration to the State of Nebraska Practical Explosives Training School (PETS) Course. This is a 16-hour Nebraska explosives training course for blasters. This course covers explosives laws and regulations for the state of Nebraska and the Buearu of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) as well as safe explosive handling, storage, transportation and use. It also includes best practices procedures with an emphasis on practical knowledge. This course is excellent for both new explosive users and experienced blasters. After successfully finishing this Nebraska explosives training course, you will obtain a 16 hours of continuing education. 

PETS – Nebraska is self-paced, fully online and will provide you with a certification of completion. Minimal computer skills are required. This course is suitable for all types of end users including: Surface blasting and construction, avalanche mitigation, industrial explosive cleaning, oil and gas explosive use, unexploded ordnance (UXO), law enforcement, U.S. Forest Service explosive use, blasting for underground mining and underground construction, special use of explosives, and general laboratory safety rules for explosives and energetic materials.
