Industrial Explosives Cleaning & Deslagging

This course is self-paced and fully online. This course is designed to maximize safety, dependability, and efficiency when using explosive cleaning methods. This will help to extend boiler life, improve boiler efficiency, reduce energy costs, and establish a culture of safe work practices. The course will overview different methods used for explosive industrial cleaning and with considerations for operational downtime for the boiler. We will also overview the relevant calculations used to assure that the system will not be damaged during the cleaning and deslagging process. Participants will gain an understanding of how this process works by creating shock waves to fracture and remove the deposited slag, ash, and other debris. Upon successful completion participants will receive a certificate of completion.
