Thank you for your registration to our State of Washington Practical Explosives Training School (PETS) Course. This is an 8-hour State of Washington and ATF approved renewal course. This course covers explosives regulations for the state of Washington and the ATF. It also includes best practices procedures with an emphasis on practical knowledge. This course is excellent for both new explosive users and experienced blasters. This class is self-paced, fully online and will provide you with a State-approved certificate for 8 hours of continuing education. This is the amount required for license renewal.
This course is suitable for all types of end users, including but not limited to: Surface blasting and construction, industrial explosive cleaning, oil and gas explosive use, unexploded ordnance (UXO), law enforcement, U.S. Forest Service explosive use, blasting for underground mining and underground construction, special use of explosives, and general laboratory safety rules for explosives and energetic materials. This class is fully online and will provide you with a certification of completion.
