This course is a collaboration with the State of Tennessee that offers basic training for blasters on general explosives regulations and best practices procedures, with an emphasis on practical knowledge. The topics covered will include regulatory component (explosives safety, handling, storage, and applications) with overview of the current explosive regulations for the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Division of Fire Prevention fire code.
