State of Pennsylvania approved 8-hour continuing education explosives training course. This course covers explosives regulations for the state of Pennsylvania and the ATF. It also includes best practices procedures with an emphasis on practical knowledge. This course is excellent for both new explosive users and experienced blasters. After successfully finishing this course, each participant will obtain a State-approved certificate for 8 hours of continuing education. This is the amount required for license renewal.
This course is suitable for all types of end users including: Surface blasting and construction, avalanche mitigation, industrial explosive cleaning, oil and gas explosive use, unexploded ordnance (UXO), law enforcement, U.S. Forest Service explosive use, blasting for underground mining and underground construction, special use of explosives, and general laboratory safety rules for explosives and energetic materials.
