Thank you for your registration for the State of Montana Practical Explosives Training School (PETS) Course. This is a State of Montana approved 8-hour training course that covers explosives regulations for the state of Montana and the ATF. It also includes best practices procedures with an emphasis on practical knowledge. This course is excellent for both new explosive users and experienced blasters. After successfully finishing this course, you will obtain a State-approved certificate for 8 hours of continuing education.
This course is suitable for all types of end users including: Surface blasting and construction, avalanche mitigation, industrial explosive cleaning, oil and gas explosive use, unexploded ordnance (UXO), law enforcement, U.S. Forest Service explosive use, blasting for underground mining and underground construction, special use of explosives, and general laboratory safety rules for explosives and energetic materials. This class is self-paced, fully online, and will provide you with a certification of completion.
