Thank you for your registration for the State of Hawaii PETS Course. This is a State of Hawaii approved 8-hour Blaster’ Certificate of Fitness renewal course that covers explosives regulations for the state of Hawaii and the ATF. It also includes best practices procedures with an emphasis on practical knowledge. This course is excellent for both new explosive users and experienced blasters. This class is self-paced, fully online and will provide you with a State-approved certification of completion for 8 hours of continuing education. This is the amount required for certificate of fitness renewal.
This course is suitable for all types of end users, including but not limited to: Surface blasting and construction, industrial explosive cleaning, oil and gas explosive use, unexploded ordnance (UXO), law enforcement, U.S. Forest Service explosive use, blasting for underground mining and underground construction, special use of explosives, and general laboratory safety rules for explosives and energetic materials.
